There are many volunteer opportunities available, and we look forward to working alongside individuals who also support the vision for a new Soccer Complex in District II.

Below are the committees where we need volunteer assistance:

• Major Gifts Committee: The primary role of the committee is to participate in the process of identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gift prospects. Training will be provided by professional fundraisers.
• Leagues/Teams Campaign Committee: This committee will assist, motivate, and support the efforts of the District II teams and leagues participation in raising funds for the Complex. The fundraising activities might include auctions, raffles, …thons, etc.
• Corporations Committee: The committee will assist with identifying companies with "giving committees" as well as contacting, cultivating, and soliciting those committees for donations for the Complex. This might include national as well as local companies and in-kind gifts. Training will be provided by professional fundraisers.
• Corporate Sponsorships Committee: The primary role of this committee is to design and implement a sponsorship program(s) to secure sponsorship funds for the Complex.
• Small Businesses Committee: A small business is defined as a company not having a corporate giving program. This committee will assist with identifying as well as contacting, cultivating, and soliciting small businesses for donations for the Complex. This could include donations from businesses close to the soccer complex and businesses owned by District II parents as well as in-kind gifts. Training will be provided by professional fundraisers.
• Cultivation Committee: The cultivation committee is responsible for planning and implementing cultivation activities to assist and support the fundraising effort, particularly the Major Gifts campaign.
• Marketing Committee: The Marketing Committee will develop, implement, and manage the marketing plan for the capital campaign and the Complex.
• Public Relations Committee: This committee will build awareness in the community about the new Silicon Valley Soccer Complex including the need and benefits. The implementation could include creating press releases, articles and building relations with members of the media.
