About the Foundation - "Kick-Start" Campaign
The San Jose Soccer Complex Foundation, with input from relevant professionals, has conducted in-depth research and iterative budgets to put forth the Fundraising Campaign Goal of $7 million dollars. There may be refinement in this goal once the Research Phase of the Campaign is complete.
To date, the Foundation has received an infusion of seed funds of approximately $800,000.
The Foundation has engaged Essex & Drake Fund Raising Counsel to manage the fundraising effort. Essex & Drake and the Foundation will be working with parents, major donors, sponsor-prospects, corporations and small businesses to reach the Campaign goal.
Why call the Campaign "Kick-Start"? As you know, soccer fields are in great demand. Usage has increased dramatically in the last decade with the number of participants swelling at all levels of soccer play—from recreational to Olympic Development. With these additional tournament-level fields, District II will be able to better accommodate the field requirements of all levels of youth soccer. |
Building a first-rate soccer complex these days requires a substantial commitment of volunteer and professional time, as well as money.
